East of England Development Agency (EEDA)

PR and media relations to promote the East of England as the UK's 'space for ideas' region at regional and national level. Included the launch of 'Bright Ideas' the rose for the East of England, including a photo-call with celebrity pop-star turned garden designer Kim Wilde and a schools competition.

 

University Campus Suffolk
Event management for a breakfast reception for 100 opinion formers at the Suffolk Show in 2005. This included managing the invitation process, event logistics, catering, speaker liaison and speech notes. We also created the theme ‘Making it happen’ and produced a new hand-out brochure for the day. Very positive feedback received from the day and about the brochure.
 

Business Link (East of England)

Commissioned by East of England Business Links Ltd. to prepare a comprehensive report on an initiative carried out jointly by all six Business Links in the region called ‘Can Do Communities’. Within the space of four weeks all six BL’s were interviewed and research carried out, the report written up, designed and printed. The report was very well received by each BL as well as the sponsoring authority, EEDA.

 

Learning & Skills Council (LSC)
A PR campaign that successfully launched the LSC in Essex to key opinion formers and business leaders and culminated in the creation and launch of the annual Champions of Learning Awards with radio station BBC Essex.
